Zibi 543
6 Booth Street, Albert Island, Ottawa
Built by J. R. Booth shortly after the great fire of 1900, Zibi 543 is a 3-storey brick building located on Albert Island. It was sold to the E. B. Eddy Company in the 1940s and used as a storehouse during its pulp and paper manufacturing operations. Featuring large wood pillars, exposed brick walls and beautiful wood beam ceilings, it’s one of the last vestiges of Ottawa’s industrial past. Located directly on the water and overlooking the Canadian War Museum, it’s truly the most unique venue in the National Capital Region.
Zibi House
Zibi House is an 8-storey tower of bespoke, refurbished shipping containers overlooking the Ottawa River. It houses Zibi’s presentation centre in addition to a spectacular cultural sensory experience that will allow you to smell, hear, touch, taste and see Zibi in all its glory. Zibi House is the vision of internationally acclaimed, Canadian designer Paolo Ferrari – it’s a modern, welcoming space that can be readily converted into a statement-making venue for more intimate, private gatherings.
Liquor and event licenses must be applied for by event organizers with the AGCO.
